This site is from the Scott Foresman Reading Website and it goes along with the story, "From the Diary of Leigh Botts." It shows many of the ways that invention has changed the way we live. Did you know toothpaste was invented in 3000 BC? Check it out!

You can go into the simple machines activity by clicking start, or you can choose one of the other activities. Ms. Kramer says the knee surgery is a lot of fun, but the photographs are a bit gross. So, consider yourself warned!
