Jonas Clarke Middle School

Multimedia Health Education is an elective course for eighth grade students that meets twice a week for one semester. This class provides special instruction to students in the use of the computer software that creates multimedia messages and programs. As students master the software, they then develop health messages directed to other middle school students. This involves selecting a health education topic, researching it, determining a focus for the message, and then creating the message. Examples of messages might include: a game, a quiz, a commercial or an informational presentation. Students will present their health education messages to selected groups of students at the end of the course. This course is taught by Mrs. Boudreau.
